International Piano Masterclass

Barocksaal Villa Mettlen in Bern/Switzerland
Pourtalèsstrasse 35, CH 3074 Muri near Bern (10 minutes by tram from Bern railway station)
Information:
Participants will receive five lessons, 50 minutes each. In addition, there will be a
couple of informal evening recitals, as well as discussion sessions within the class.
Lessons and recitals will be open to the public with no entrance fee.
The course languages are German and English.
Participants will have the extensive opportunity to practice on well-maintained instruments.
The final concert takes place on 27 September 2026 at 5pm.
We expect all participants to play in the final concert.
All participants will receive a certificate of participation.
Fees:
The course tuition fee is 650 CHF, practice rooms and a daily light lunch are included in the price. Participants will receive bank details for the money transfer once they have been accepted into the class.
Application documents:
- Curriculum Vitae (CV) including the participant's age
- A video recording (please provide a Youtube link) of two important stylistically different piano works of your choice, if possible from a public concert. The recording should include two complete works, not single movements, and should not be older than six months. Minimum duration: 15 minutes.

Free private accommodation will be provided upon request.
Application deadline:
Please fill out the application form and upload the documents until July 17th 2026.
Participants will receive an email with their acceptance until August 15th 2026. Class capacity is limited to ten participants.
